My daughter is 17 months (20 lbs) and loves to ride in it. It's pretty comfortable, but if you're not used to lugging that much extra weight around you'll get kinds sore in the shoulders. The back pack part is very roomy, enough to hold baby gear and adult stuff too. <br /> <br />My only suggestions for future models would be to pad the chest strap and add a "fanny pack" type pouch to the front or side of the belt area for quick accsess items like a wallet or keys. It's a kind of a pain to take the whole thing off to get in the back. What a fantastic carrier!
