Excellent way to transfer kid around while hands are kept free. I would have preferred it if there were lesser clips to buckle.

The concept is fantastic but it’s poorly executed. I’m a smaller person and the lumbar support doesn’t tighten enough to be of any use to me. I found the straps to be very hard to adjust by myself especially once I got baby in. Because the lumbar support is too loose, baby’s weight rests all on my shoulder, defeating one of the main reasons why I bought the carrier.

I also have the ErgoBaby carrier which is a very similar design but much better implemented. The Ergobaby is a front, SIDE and back carrier. The Ergobaby’s straps are so simple to adjust — due to fantastic buckles — that it’s super quick and simple to fit from one person to the next. The thickness of the clothing you wear affects the length of the lumbar support. Because of the complexity and stiffness of the Infantino’s strap system, especially in the lumbar area, it would make adjusting this part a pain. Yes, the Ergobaby carrier is noticeably more in price but to me, it’s worth every penny. It’s the most comfortable carrier I’ve used to date. The Baby Bjorn carrier doesn’t come close to its level of comfort.

    It is worth the money!!!

After reading mixed reviews on this carrier was small reluctant but glad that I bought it :-) .

Goodies: It is coming very handy when you don’t to take your stroller especially while shopping. My 5 months ancient daughter likes when she is forward facing enjoying the world around her. Lumbar support is helpful as well the straps.

Not so gud: It takes time to set up esp. back even with the help. Lack of accessories like sunshade, wind protection etc. Closer to the kid’s mouth letting her sucking the straps all the time.

    perilous and ill-fitted

This thing is very hard to place on by yourself, and impossible if the baby is on your back. The clips pop open while using and are hard to make “click”. The straps over the baby’s arms are low, and either lie on her upper arms or dig into her shoulders. The leg openings are also quite small. It is the worst baby carrier I have tried.

    Frustrating!

The clips do not work very well- they keep getting jammed! Maybe I got a faulty one since reviews are excellent but I broke down and got baby bjorn- way fewer clips to deal with!

Awesome. Highly recommend, particularly for second time mothers who need to carry their baby, and have free hands for their toddler all at the same time. This one has lumbar support–a necessity!!!

    There’s better out there

As baby carriers go, this one is adequate. It’s not very comfortable or simple to place on, and it doesn’t hold the baby in the healthiest position, but it does hold the baby. I found it hard to wear my son on my back in this carrier, and the straps weren’t comfortable that way either. The velcro on the sides also tended to wake him up if he’d fallen asleep in the carrier, and we tried to open it.

After trying this, a recent Snugli, a Maya Wrap, and a Kelty frame pack, I bought a handmade mei tai carrier, and loved it. It’s more comfortable, more versatile, and holds the baby in a sitting position, rather than dangling by the crotch. That style of carrier would be a much better choice than this one, and should be around the same price.

Not able to place on alone easily
    Rating:2 out of 5 stars
The product can be place on, but you have to pull it over your head so that the back strap can be snapped if you are wearing the baby on the front. Also, the lumbar “support” doesn’t even have an effect on how the baby is held, so it doesn’t really support anything. I borrowed a Baby B’Jorn from a friend, and chose that despite the cost, I was going to return this and spend the extra money for something I could use on my own.

fantastic product – i’ve now bought 3 of them.

After much review, i settled on this product. After trying it out – both my wife and I – I bought one for myself as well. Why buy two? Because it saves time in making all the adjustments between my 5′ 4″ wife and my 6′ 6″ self. And it’s only 30 some bucks. We then bought another one for my sister in-law as a baby shower gift.

This is a excellent carrier except it is a small hard to set baby up. And I haven’t received the rebate yet.:(

Fantastic Carrier – why pay more??
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This carrier works fantastic. Once you get it figured out the first time, it is really simple to place on and place your child in – even with no help from anyone else. The straps are comfortable and it is soft and comfy for the baby. You can face your child in or out and place them on your front or back. This carrier fits well on either me (and I am pretty petite) or my husband – it can be adjusted to fit any size.

I honestly don’t see why you need to spend more money on the huge name brand carriers like the BabyBjörn Baby Carrier Synergy – Black- this one is fabulous. I’ve got no complaints.

Fantastic carrier, especially for a larger Mommy
    Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I really like this carrier – I had tried 2 others with my other babies without doing any research. Someone wrote that they were not skinny and this one still fit so I tried it. It’s fantastic, it fits and is comfortable, just a small awkward to get him out of without help – I’ll admit I haven’t tried the step by step directions that came with it because I like to just figure things out and luckily someone has always been around to help me so far. Anyway – I do recommend it highly!

Better than a stroller in many cases and a fantastic price for this product. I would recommend this product to anyone that can use an extra hand.

This is an brilliant buy for anyone whose baby doesnot like the ride in the stroller. Very simple to wear and unbeleivably simple to take the baby in and out. The 5-star rating says it all!!!

  15. C. McClanathan says:

    Pretty excellent.

A excellent price and a decent product. I feel like my baby’s legs are maybe a small uncomfortable and doesn’t allow excellent circulation. But, it does work well for taller broader men/women to use. And the baby didn’t seem to mind the leg issue as much as I did.

    Baby likes it!

We chose on this carrier because of positive reviews and the weight range. Our work requires a lot of outside walking and our small one is often with us. The straps are wide with plenty of cushioning and are generous in length so the carrier is easily adjusted to fit either of our body frames. It is simpler to adjust the straps before putting small one in, but we found they can still be adjusted, with a small more effort, once small one is in place. We have only carried in the front facing position and our small one likes it. The fabric is soft, cushiony, and breathes. The leg openings have velcro which make them simple to adjust, and there is a strap with a clip to reinforce the hold. Our small one often naps and the front fabric folded down serves as a soft and supportive pillow for him. My husband has worn this without difficulty, but it has place a lot of pressure on my neck and back. I have found that tightening the straps and having small one higher up does not place so much pressure. All in all a fantastic buy for our family.

Fantastic carrier at a Fantastic price!

I bought this carrier after registering for and receiving the Parents of Invention Ultimate Baby Mei Tai Black Reversible One-Size-Fits-All for my baby shower. The Mei Tai had received excellent reviews, and was supposed to fit larger sized people, so we thought it would be excellent for my husband and I. While it is a excellent carrier, it is very hard to get my daughter in and out of it alone. This Infantino carrier had gotten fantastic reviews (well deserved), so I chose to give it a try. I am so glad we bought it! My daughter (11 weeks ancient) is very comfortable riding in front, facing in and, very recently, facing out. It is simple to adjust to any body, and has a lumbar support which we both find helpful and comfortable. It doesn’t become uncomfortable after a long period of time. It fits both my husband and me just fine, and we are both on the larger side. Best yet, it is very simple to drop my daughter in on my own, and to take her out is just as simple. I feel like she is in there securely, and it can easily be adjusted while she is in to make it fit her perfectly. All in all, a fantastic bargain- my only wish is that we had registered for this carrier first!
