Comfortable and easy to use
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I have owned other Snugli carriers and was not pleased - but this one is great. It has mesh so neither the baby nor the adult gets too hot. It is also easy to put the baby in. A little tricky to get it on at first - but I think that was more 'me' than the carrier. lol The fact that you can use it up to forty pounds means you can use it longer than many other styles.

Great as long as child doesn't fall asleep
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
I ordered this for my 11 month old son. My biggest complaint is that he sits so far forward that when he falls asleep he lays on the back of my neck. Very uncomfortable! The weight of the carrier does not shift well when putting it on my back. Also, the top seam along the back looks as if it is very stressed and might tear soon. I do like the way the weight is distruibted on my back and shoulders. I am planning on returning it and buying the KELTY TOWN backpack carrier.

Great backpack for the money
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
If you are not going to go on any extensive hiking trips--this backpack is great. I took my 15-months old to the store to try out several models, and this was the only one he didn't cry in. I was very skeptical about this carrier because of its low price (and my husband asked me not to buy anything cheap), but the more expensive models were a lot more enclosed, making the child very hot. This backpack leaves lots of room for air circulation and it also has mesh sides for ventilation, and the pack itself is not very thick and a lot more breathable than the more expensive models. It is very comfortable for me and my husband to carry our son in it, and our son absolutely loves it. I don't think, I'd be able to use it for longer hiking trips (like a day-long), but we never go on such trips anyways. This backpack doesn't have much storage--just a little mesh pocket, but I don't mind that, if I am carrying the backpack with the child, then my husband can carry the diaper bag (or vice versa), and even when I am alone, I'd like to have easy access to the diaper bag, and that's hard to do if it's attached to the backpack (you'd have to take the pack with the child off your back in order to get something in or out). I am using this backpack to walk around our apartment complex at night--my son is breathing fresh air and I get a good exercise.
I have two complaints: 1) the straps used to buckle the child are a bit rough and could use some soft fabric around them; 2) the backpack positions the child a bit high and it’s hard for the child to get comfortable when he falls asleep
The moral of the story is -- if you like going on long hiking trips, go with more expensive models like Kelty Town, if you are like most of us and only go on short walks in the park or around your neighborhood--this backpack is great, especially considering its cost.

GREAT FOR AROUND TOWN
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I tried another carrier first (infantimo), but found it very uncomfortable for me. I am short (5'3) and the straps on this carrier really adjusted well for my size. My son,who is 13 months old and 25 lbs. loved it and was very comfortable. This is probably not a carrier for long hikes, but for trips to t-ball games and the park this carrier is great. It is also very light and compact. For the price, this carrier was a great choice for me!

Good for mom NOT baby!
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
I am 5'4" and rather large chested and this pack including the mommy straps fits me GREAT! I bought this packpack after my son and I decided to take advantage of the beautiful area and go hiking. Well day #1 seemed ok I was very comfortable with the pack, though it was very hard to get on and off alone. I hike alone with my son and it wasn't convenient for me. My 6 month old son is 17lbs and 28" he seems comfortable in the carrier EXCEPT for the fact that the straps cut into his shoulders and thighs. I love that the pack has leg straps VERY NICE, but I don't like that it hurts my baby. Also when my son does fall asleep he leans on my neck and that hurts me alot. He trys to fall asleep when he's not lying on my neck but the board inbetween him and I seems to hurt his face and head. His arms kind of just hang there he doesn't really have anything to do with them (except the occasional hair pull of my pony tail). I would not tell anyone i know to buy this PLUS I am going to return mine to the store. What I need that this carrier does not have is padded straps for the baby, adjustable height (for baby seat), somewhere for my babys arms to go, I would like the baby to be comfortable, but also sit away from me a bit so that he's not lying on my neck.

Pretty Good for the Price
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
We bought this carrier for a vacation in Hawaii for our 20-month old son. We wanted something that we could use for sight-seeing, where the stroller would be inconvenient. It worked out pretty well, except for a few things: First, our son is 27 pounds, and pretty long and skinny, but he felt like 50 pounds after awhile. If your childer is older (heavier), this carrier is not for long walks/hikes! Second, in warmer climates, this carrier gets too hot (for parent and child!). Third, unless you have a picnic table or something, you need two people to put this on. Overall, it was great for our vacation, (especially at the price) when there were two parents to help each other and tag team the load, but I find it too difficult/inconvenient when I am out and about by myself shopping or running errands. One side note: We got stuck in a rainstorm in Hawaii with no umbrella or coats, and this carrier (and us) got totally soaked. It was dry within 24 hours, and seems no worse for the wear. I was expecting a rusty moldy mess.

It was too tight
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
I was looking for carriers but, I couldn't find any that were "cheap" so, I got the cheapest one and it was very uncomfortable and my baby's a jumper and she likes to move alot so. I threw that one away and got this one, but, this was really tight on my and my baby but, she would keep still. I tried adjusting the straps but, nothing quite worked. I think I should just continue my hunt and maybe I'll just get an exspensive one, because this one just didn't fo it for me.

It's okay....not bad, but not great
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I got this to use for short periods of time and it works fine for that. But after an hour or so, my shoulders really start to ache. My son is 15 months, 32 inches, and 27 pounds and he fits comfortably in the carrier and we haven't had any trouble with his straps digging into him or causing any discomfort. And it's not bad to carry with that amount of weight; it's at least an hour before I start to hurt and I can make it 2 hours before I'm in real pain. The waist strap is comfortable (and I'm short--5'2"), but I've had trouble with the chest strap (I'm also busty, though) and haven't been able to get it perfectly adjusted. My son loves the ride and the view and it's definitely handy. It is hard to put on alone; you need another person or a waist-high table (my SUV's tailgate works fine) to get it on safely. If you just need a carrier for the occasional short trip, this is great for the price. But if you plan to use it frequently or for long trips, go with something better.

Great for the price
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I only bought a backpack carrier because my daughter' sitter has one and uses it almost daily. My daughter loves being up high and it enables the sitter to do chores around the house. Only thing is that her back pack is nearly 20 years old and does not come with all the safety features of our modern day. My daughter is not too crazy about being in the pack because she's safely strapped in with the 5-point harness, but it works well for working in the yard and around the house. I have had no problem putting it on by myself-just takes a little coordination. It's great in the airport too, but it does get hot after an hour or so. I would definitely invest in a different carrier if I were to go hiking.

Not Bad For Traveling!
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
My husband and I bought this item for a trip to N.Y. and he loved it! It's inexpensive and it does the job. I used it once at the mall and my back was not strong enough to keep him in it long. He is 1 years old, so maybe just too big for me. Our little guy likes it a lot.

Worked great at Disneyland
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
We live in Japan and it's not always easy to get strollers everywhere we go so when I saw this backpack I grabbed it. We hadn't been able to find any others like this so it was really the only option where we live (I'm sure in other bigger cites I could find better but not in this city). We bought it 2 days before taking a trip up to Tokyo to take my two kids to Disneyland. My son is 3 and 33 lbs..He was way too heavy to carry more than 5-10 min without it being painfully heavy for me. My daughter was 19 monts old but only weighed 19-20 lbs so was prefect for carrying around. I carried her all over Tokyo in it and through most of Disneyland. I didn't really get uncomfortable with the pack on due to weight but we got rather sweaty and sticky. My only real complaint is it was hard for my daughter to sleep in this. I also brought my sling with us and when she got tired I had to take her out of the carrier and put her in the sling to sleep. We took a small stroller for my son in Disneyland and just put the carrier under it when not used.
Overall this is a good baby backpack but I wish we had found one with the shade over her. For the next baby I plan to get a nicer one that has a shade cover for the baby.

Pretty good carrier
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This is a pretty good back carrier, especially for the money. The straps are a little flimsey, and I can't use it for that long without my back hurting, but my son is 22 lbs. and I don't have the greatest back. My husband really likes using it as well. My son LOVES being in it. I wouldn't use this for long periods of time (like if you're going hiking), but for short trips, it's great, especially if you can switch off with someone.

Great backpack
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
We got this for our 9 month old who is on the go and not wanting to be confined to his stroller on walks. He just loves being up high and able to see better from the backpack carrier. He thinks it is super fun.

A lifesaver!!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I'm a single mom so I'm either rushing through chores before my baby starts getting upset about having to play by herself or having to carry her while doing tasks with one hand -- this has been such a blessing! I don't have to rush making dinner or doing laundry. I can't wear it for more than 30 min - but then, my baby is pretty "solid". If you're always struggling to get things but worry about having enough time, this is a great product -- and so simple!!

A must have and at a great price...
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I just love this Carrier. We used the smaller front/back carrier first at 3months and it was very nice as well but when you switched it to the back at closer a year it seemed uncomfortable to use. So because we liked it so much we thought we would try this one and the price was nice as well. It is very comfortable and our 14 month old son seemed content sitting in it for our hike. It also holds up to 40 lbs. [...]. This is a very nice carrier and at a great price...
