Worth every penny

I like this carrier after having used a Snugli and handmade sling for the first 12 months. I wish we’d invested in this one or another Ergo sooner! I like the fact that there are 3 carrying positions (front, back, and side). We bought the Galaxy Grey so hopefully it wouldn’t be as hot during summer months. It comes with a sleeping hood that’s attached and you can fold it into the pocket when it’s not being used. The front-carry is the simplest and quickest position. The back-pack style carry can be done alone (I just used it today for our morning walk), but takes about 10 excellent minutes of practice over a bed before really getting the hang of it. This carrier is durable and I reckon it will be a looong time before it shows any wear and tear. The carrier seems to place most of the baby’s weight on my lower back, but really it doesn’t hurt until after over an hour of wearing my 13-month ancient around (he’s over 22 lbs at this point). That’s way better than any other carrier I’ve used. I’m loving it!!! Highly recommended.
INCREDIBLE!!!!!

greatest baby item we’ve bought!!! my small boy is 2 months ancient and is sooo pleased in our ergo! the infant insert is a must…but keeps him snuggled and warm!!!
Super comfy!!

A friend of mine recommended this carrier so I thought I’s give it a shot. Needless to say, it’s been an integral part of my babywearing repertoire. I generally use it for long walks and housework. My daughter likes it and has been using it since she was a couple of days ancient with the heart 2 heart insert. It’s a small bulky to travel with, so I use my Maya Wrap for small trips like going to the store, etc. Overall though, it’s a fantastic product and is super comfy for both the wearer and baby.
Best baby carrier

My wife and I bought the ergo baby carrier for our 11 month ancient son. We had used a baby bjourn until he outgrew it. We looked at a lot of different options for new carriers for our son. First it had to grow with our son. This carrier is rated to 40 lbs for one. ( Not that my small wife will be able to carrier our son when he is 40 lbs.) Secondly It is a front carrier but can be used as a back carrier as well. My wife likes to wear it on here back when cooking. We bought this product for our trips abroad. It is much simpler to carry our son than to take an umbrella stroller. No hassles waiting for the stroller at the gate while the whole plane has departed. I am much larger than my wife so we needed to buy the belt extension. I have a size 42 waist. It would fit up to a 36″-38″ waist quite comfortably. Thirdly the privacy it provides for a sleeping child. The hood tucks away when not being used to cover the child and it is also adjustable for the height of the child. It is well padded and comfortable to wear. It is easily adjustable when changing the strap settings to fit me also. Lastly it is very compact, fitting into any carry on or even hand bag well. It loses one star in my opinion since our son cannot be carried facing forward unless he is on our back.
loving my ergo

I like this carrier! I have a moby wrap & a baby bjorn.. they bjorn is a bit quicker to get on, but kills my back after only a few min.’s. the moby was fantastic when my baby was small & simpler to nurse in, but everytime i had to take her out it was so streched that i would have to redo the whole thing which is a pain & it was very hot! i live in Alaska & it was wintertime when she was born.. so i can’t imagine living somewhere warm & using it. with the ergo i can wear it for hours before my back hurts if at all. but i have back issues so its probably not the carriers fault. got the Heart 2 heart insert, cuz she wwas only 3 moths ancient when i got it & it was fantastic! if she fell asleep while in it i could take her out in the insert lay her down & she would sleep like that nicely. They only reason i gave it 4 stars is because i’m over 6′ & pretty thin.. the shoulder straps get in my way sometimes. they are so padded that even though they are confrotable they get in the way on my shoulders. but i deal with it fine. still would buy it again in a heart beat! & the galaxy grey is so cute!
Fantastic Carrier

I got this baby carrier to replace a Baby Bjorn carrier that I was having back pains after wearing. I have had absolutely no back pain using the Ergo baby and I use it on a daily basis for sometimes up to 2 hours while outside with my older kids. I also like the style of this carrier – I have gotten a lot of compliments on the color/star pattern. I would highly recommend this carrier!

I was given the infantino carrier as a gift at my shower. I liked it at first, as my son LIKES to be in a front pack, but by the time he was 4-5 weeks my back was killing me. I did a lot of research and chose to give the Ergo a try! This pattern is so cute and my back no longer hurts. I HIGHLY recommend this carrier. I absolutely like it, and without it, I would never get anything done! My son likes it too as it keeps him close and comfortable. The only thing I would say is if you have a newborn and need the infant insert like I did, make sure to keep your baby in a thin onesy as they will get hot really quickly in the summer time.

I like this carrier!! I have several slings that I use for shopping, walks, etc, and have previously used for around the house. But, as my son gets larger (he’s 8 months ancient now) he wants to go around more, throw himself backward, suddenly shift his weight to reach for something, etc, and I get nervous having him in the sling unless I have a hand available to catch him if necessary. With this carrier, he is so much more stable and secure, I can tote him around anywhere with me and don’t have to worry about him squirming his way out or suddenly shifting different directions while I’m leaning over doing something. Also, my sitters (I don’t use daycare, I have 2 babysitters who take turns watching him while I’m at work) use this item (they both have their own) and they both like it as well. He frequently falls asleep while they are doing housework or tending their kids while he rides along on the sitter’s back. Don’t get me incorrect – I like my slings and couldn’t survive without them, but this is certainly on my list of must-have baby tools/items.
High Quality Carrier

I bought this carrier when my son was 10 months ancient.
I like that this carrier is both a front wearing and back wearing carrier. It is simple to adjuct for different people to wear and very comfortable. I have several other carriers/wraps and this one by and far has the best distribution of weight.
When I opened the box I was really impressed with the quality of this piece. I know high quality is what you’d expect of anything that costs $110 but there was not a stray strand anywhere on this carrier. The stars are gorgeous. Everything feels very well made.
I was able to adjust this carrier to my body very easily and carry my (20 pound) son around with no problem. He even had space to wiggle but not enough that I felt he was unsafe. I was also able to readjust this carrier to fit my husband for baby wearing in a few minutes.
I also like that this carrier has a small zippered pocket large enough to carry a diaper or a wallet.
I would recommend this baby carrier to anyone considering getting one. This is the top of the line baby carrier.

I absolutely LIKE my Ergo Baby. This is my third baby in less than 4 years and it is a necessity to go to the store or park. And very very comfortable. Also like the sleeping hood. You won’t be sorry. So much better than my Baby Bjorn.
Worth the money!

I had a hard time forking out $110 for this carrier. But after reading a ton of reviews I chose it would be worth it. I truly do like this carrier. I wear it nearly daily with my 7.5 month ancient. It is so comfortable, I can barely feel the weight of my 20lb son in there. It also fits my 28lb 4 year ancient pretty well. I like how it can fit me and my husband, we are 2 different sized people and it fits us both wonderfully.
LIKE IT!!!!

It’s so comfortable and simple to adjust! My 17 month ancient likes to be in the carrier and I’m able to walk without worry about readjusting. We’ve gone on several outings now- stores, walks, museums… Even my husband was able to wear her. My favorite part is how quick I can her up and secure; very vital when my 4 year ancient is waiting to go.
Fantastic Product

I bought this carrier on a recommendation from a friend and I could not be more satisfied. I started using the carrier with my 6 week ancient and have continued to use it as she grows. I bought it because I had not chose on a double stroller yet and I needed a way to go for walks with my newborn and toddler. I also bought the heart to heart infant insert and I reckon it is a must if you have an infant. My daughter falls asleep nearly immediately after I start walking and she stays asleep the entire time. My back felt sore the first few times, but it was muscle soreness not back pain. Now do not feel sore at all which means I have really gotten stronger using the Ergo carrier! I will say that if you have an infant that does not like to be confined or swaddled, I reckon he/she will not like this carrier. My son would have despised it.
Life saver!

I started using this carrier right after received it in the mail. My one month ancient baby was crying hard at the time. Few minutes after I place him in and started walking, he became silent and fell asleep. Since then, I use it quite often. It’s not a magic spell that will always place the baby to sleep but at least my hands are free! As long as I don’t have to suffer with souring arms I am pleased. The only complaint that I have is that the straps are not very simple to adjust.
Simplest Carrier out there!

This is my 5th carrier, and by far my favorite. I have a peanut shell, new native, chicco, and a moby. I bought this one because I found the sling carriers to hard to position my newborn so his chin wasn’t touching his chest (to avoid positional asphyxiation). The chicco is a front carrier that was ok, but it started hurting my back after 10 minutes (and it was hard to slip him in and out). This carrier is perfect! Its SUPER simple to slip on and off, with the insert my son is safe and secure and we both can feel comfortable for much longer periods of time. I’m taking a plane trip with my newborn alone, and I needed something that would be simple for me to navigate the airport easily by myself and with luggage, and this fits the bill. I can see myself using this for a long time to come. I also like that my husband can use it too (with the waist extender belt)–if he can pry it from me
Best toddler carrier ever

This carrier saved my life and my back… and now that my daughter is heavier I just carry her on my back so comfortably for both of us, this thing must be so comfortable for her that after a few minutes she always falls asleep. Every mother should own an Ergo…. I like it!!!!!!!!!

I don’t know what magic is in Ergo but my baby (who is quite hard to nap) falls asleep in it.
Works like a miracle! But, she got red marks on her legs 2 times. I reckon I didn’t wear it correctly.
Anyway, still like it. I’m only 5’2″ with narrow shoulder but it’s not a huge problem as there is a strap to lock the shoulder pads in place. I like this color as it’s not too hot and has a girly touch. Still want to try an organic one if it’s softer and more baby-friendly or not.
MUST HAVE!

I got this item for my birthday (really its the 10th but i got it a week early) i have 4 other carriers
and this is by far my favorite. my son is 32 inches long and 22 lbs…oh did i mention he is only 8 months ancient? yup he is a huge one and this is the ONLY carrier that i can literally wear for hours and it not hurt my back or shoulders. i like it because i keep in my car and its not huge and bulky like the framed carriers. i like how is goes front, back, and hip. i use this all the time and my son likes it as well.the color is super cute, i get many compliaments on it and its really simple to place on and place the baby in by yourself. its a must have for any mom thats on the go, or likes to walk/hike.
